Festival Opera Presents: Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro

Figaro

Betrayal, lust, injustice. Just an ordinary day at work? Like the best TV drama, Mozart’s comedy masterpiece reflects our own lives – the passionate and the ordinary, delivered through spine-tingling musical lines. This opera has it all, telling the story of Figaro and his sweetheart Susanna, and their roguish employers, the wealthy but dysfunctional couple Count and Countess Almaviva. Experience one of the world’s favourite operas, sung in Italian by a cast of International performers and staged with all the opulence of the Art Deco period. Even if you’ve never been before, let us introduce you to the wonderful world of opera, delivered in a performance that will have you hooked!
